William “Texas” Tyler
WTT aka William “Texas” Tyler born in Oklahoma mere minutes from the border of Texas when his mother suddenly went into labor just as the train she was traveling on was robbed by bandits. Raised in Texas, WTT grew up to be a Texas Ranger and the best Texas has ever seen, capturing more bandits and outlaws than all others in US History, until he was gunned down in a mysterious ambush.
The citizens of Texas and Oklahoma swear that they still see and hear WTT riding trails seeking out outlaws and bandits. And the sighting spread as far north as the Dakotas and southeast to the Carolinas. In fact one man in Georgia swears on his mother’s bible that he offered WTT and his companions water the night before Sherman’s troops trudged through GA., while the same night WTT and his companions were sited in Kansas.
